What do you get when three designers collaborate on their dream sunny retreat? A pad that pops with color and design fabulousness! The 2022 transformation of this 1959 William Krisel designed, Alexander built home, combines the vision of an artist with the heart to honor the soul and integrity of the original property. They kept the best of mid century design while updating and bringing in maximum fun. Sunset Magazine agreed, featuring Pop Pad's color and design in July 2023.
The fun starts in the welcoming entry. Make sure to try out the Magis Spun chair. It’s addictive. Next, the brand new fully equipped kitchen will dazzle you with its custom cabinetry, quartz countertops and backsplash, a Bertazzoni range with custom hood and built in refrigerator.
In the main living area, you'll find a 65 inch smart tv, fireplace, colorful art and a fun custom-designed ping pong table for Saturday afternoon tournaments. The dining table features original Bruno Rey dining chairs and a Poulsen PH5 pendant lamp.
The main bedroom has its own walk in closet, en suite bath with dual vanity, freestanding shower and soaking tub. It also has an orange Smeg mini fridge to keep snacks and drinks handy. And glass doors lead from this bedroom to an outdoor shower.
All three bathrooms, including a hall bathroom, the entry bathroom, and the main bedroom's bathroom, feature gorgeous handmade small batch tile. And custom colorful wall coverings and art make this home truly special.
If you were born to relax but forced to work, there are three desks as well as two monitors for your use. Custom pink corner desk? Yes please!
Beautiful new glass doors lead out to the covered patio. With a long table for gathering, authentic Bertoia chairs and a professional misting system, it’s the perfect place to relax or entertain. The super private backyard features a custom outdoor kitchen with bbq, side burner and sink. And of course, you'll want to lounge or play in the saltwater pool and spa. For chilly nights, there’s an outdoor fireplace in addition to a fire pit.
When it's time to venture out, this 2000 sq foot home is located in the popular Racquet Club Estates neighborhood, and just a short 15 minute walk to many popular uptown destinations such as Margaritaville, Arrive, Sandfish, Heyday and Boozehounds, to name just a few. Or hop in a car and you're a 6 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs.
For any stays of 28 nights or more, a Utility Deposit will be collected from the guest prior to check in to cover gas and electric usage over $200 per month. Any unused portion of the Utility Deposit will be refunded after check out. Utility deposit must be paid by check (US dollar account) or bank draft.
No garage parking but there is room for two cars on the driveway and ample street parking. Additional amenities include Corn Hole, Board Games, a Misting System, and 2 Computer Monitors to plug into.
