The dining room shares the woodstove for cozy dinners by the fire, and there’s additional seating at the breakfast bar of the fully equipped kitchen. The kids will love the bunk room, which shares a bath with the queen bedroom, but you’ll want to claim the spacious king suite for yourself. Walk through the pretty neighborhood and over the dune on a boardwalk for stunning views of Haystack Rock and Cape Kiwanda’s beach. There you’ll watch surfers and dory boats skimming in on the waves, inspect creatures in the Cape’s tide pools, climb sand dunes, quaff a beer at the Pelican Pub, and maybe splurge on a special dinner at Meridian Restaurant.  Walk south down the beach for a quieter shoreline experience to Bob Straub State Park, which ends at the estuary of the Nestucca River. 

Tillamook and Lincoln City are easy day trips from Captain Kujo’s Hideaway, so it’s a great launchpad to explorations of the North and Central Oregon Coast. Enjoy convenience, fantastic beach walking and lots of space for guests at this inviting haven.
