Welcome to Rancho, a cozy mountain A-frame in the heart of Rhododendron. Rancho offers three unique levels with two open-concept lofted bedroom areas perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even a family. 

This newly renovated A-frame cabin located in the heart of Rhododendron, near hiking trails, mountain biking, fishing, and skiing. It's warm and cozy and has everything you need to feel comfortable during your trip to Mount Hood.  You will have your own private laundry, a wood burning stove, a flat screen TV with all the streaming options, high speed WiFi fast enough for Zooming, a private hot tub on the back deck, which is brand new as of August 2021.

Rancho offers 3 levels with one bedroom area on the 2nd level and one bedroom area on the 3rd level. Both bedrooms are lofted "open concept" bedrooms. This means that neither has a 4th wall or a door. Instead, they are partitioned by vertical wood screens and thick velvet curtains. We find that there is ample "visual" privacy with these screens/curtains but it does mean that there won't be "sound" privacy, and you'll be able to hear guests on the main level, for instance, while in your bedroom area. Note that in order to access the bedroom areas, you'll need to use a spiral staircase. 

The spiral staircase is sometimes difficult for young children and dogs to navigate so we ask that you familiarize yourselves with the listing photos before booking to make sure it is something that will work well for you and your guests.

This cozy cabin is full of amenities like games, Smart TV, wood fireplace, private hot tub, backyard with fire pit (when not in wildfire season), fast WiFi (capable of streaming/Zooming), all located walking distance to the Zig Zag River, Skyway BBQ, and countless mountain trails. Rancho is equipped with high speed internet and an AppleTV so that you can stream your favorite movies and shows in your apps
