Sit back in recliners for TV by the gas fireplace, dine with a view of Haystack Rock, and enjoy a feast from the beautifully updated kitchen, with large counters and a breakfast bar. The spacious bedrooms on the lower level make it easy to invite extra guests or even another family—three bedrooms total, with two bedrooms having multiple beds and toys for the kids that will delight the younger set, as will the foosball table and beach activities in the garage. You can easily go your separate ways from this home on foot—walking miles down the beach to Bob Straub State Park, where the Nestucca River empties into the ocean and where you can watch the playful sea lions. You may even pass by a group of horseback riders and want to join the priceless experience. In the other direction and a shorter walk is Cape Kiwanda’s shopping, dining, and front-row seats to surfing and the iconic Dory boats launching and coming in from a long day of fishing or crabbing right on the sand. Sit on top of the cape and watch hang gliders or peak to the north for an incredible view of Tierra del Mar.
