Hillside House boasts breathtaking, panoramic Pacific views and light through huge windows.  That upper story is reached via two little steps from the front door, making it easy to access the great room with its wall of western windows and three queen bedrooms, two of them suites and one with an accessible walk-in shower. The kitchen is large and open enough for several cooks, and the breakfast bar and dining table mean there’s seating for everyone. Downstairs is equally delightful, with a game room with a pool table, mini-kitchen, sleeping couch and TV, and extra bunk beds in an adjoining bedroom. The kids will be glad to stay below deck, especially because large view windows continue on the ground level, bringing light and views downstairs. Since you’re in Roads End, miles of sandy beach are just down the hill. You’re also a 5-minute drive to restaurants, a McMenamins brew pub, shopping and the Chinook Winds Casino. But you might just find yourself relaxing in your hillside hideaway, watching wind-surfers and sunsets from the large upper-story deck.
